The Downtown Central Library branch of Manatee County Libraries will be closed on Monday, October 12th, 2020 for an in-service day. You can visit the library anytime online through our Enjoy from Home page! Explore our extensive craft demonstrations, virtual storytimes, stream movies and TV shows, and more! The library will reopen with continued limited hours on Tuesday, October 13th at 10 a.m.

Manatee County Libraries are pleased to announce curbside pickup will resume Thursday, October 1st in order to serve customers and meet the needs expressed by library users.* This pickup service will be available across all six full-service branches, by appointment only, during their adjusted hours. *The Rocky Bluff Library will only be offering curbside pickup services
beginning Monday, October 19th through Tuesday, November 3rd. This service is temporarily available during this time as the library is a voting location. In-person services will resume on Wednesday, November 4th.

Pick up a Healing Kit at the Downtown Central Library

The COVID-19 Pandemic has hit families hard. In response to these traumatic and unprecedented times, Manatee County Public Libraries are offering Covid-19 Healing Kits to families.
SUPPLIES ARE LIMITED. Please limit one kit per family. This kit will not heal a family in its entirety, but is intended to start families down a path of healing, sharing and fun activities.
These kits will be available in the Youth Department at the Central Library in Bradenton.
