Manatee Libraries August Newsletter

Manatee Libraries and the School District of Manatee County are excited to announce the All Access Pass, an initiative that will help students and families access the vast resources at the public library.

The All Access Pass provides all enrolled K-12 students access to public library resources with their Student ID number. By removing the physical barrier of coming to the library to get a card we are expanding resources to students in their homes, classrooms, and wherever they need access.

Neighborhood Histories

There are over 2,000 neighborhoods in Manatee County each with their own unique character and history.

Each page features a brief history of the neighborhood as well as links to images, maps, postcards, and documents pertaining to the area from the Manatee County Public Library Historical Digital Collections. You will also find helpful information about community resources and local points of interest as well as nearby parks and schools.
