Asolo Repertory Theatre Guild Play Readers
to Perform at the Braden River Library

The Asolo Repertory Theatre Guild Play Readers will be performing four ten-minute plays written by Frank Motz, three of which were shown at Theatre Odyssey’s Ten-Minute Play Festival in Sarasota.

“Robots, Presidents, Con Men, and Gladiators” will be performed on Saturday, January 15, 2022, from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m at the Braden River Library. Imagine a life-size Alexa who develops a relationship with her owner, or how about a comedy about con men competing to out-con each other…and more!

This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Braden River Library. A brief annual meeting of the Friends will precede the program.
This program is limited to forty registrants, and individuals may register online.

About the Play Readers: Members of the Guild Play Readers take the excitement of live theater out to the community by presenting staged readings at libraries, residential complexes, and community centers. Most presenters are former professional and community theater actors and educators. The Play Readers Group also meets monthly to put on live readings of play scripts.
